A SPLASH című nyár végi csoportos kiállítás hazai és külföldi kortárs művészek olyan munkáit kívánja bemutatni, amelyeken szerepet kap a víz vagy más folyadékok “mozgásának” vizuális megjelenítése. A  Fesztivál programjának keretében megrendezett tárlaton kiállított, zömében fotó alapú munkák és helyspecifikus installációk különböző híres és közismert művekre való utalásokon keresztül kalauzolják a nézőt a művészettörténet áthallásos berkeiben. Ilyen visszacsatolás például a namíbiai születésű, Londonban élő fiatal képzőművész, Max Siedentopf, 15 fotóból álló sorozata (Fifteen Fantastic Fountains) is, amely Marcel Duchamp 1917-es Forrás című művére reflektál.

Please Mind The Splash

The late summer group exhibition entitled “Splash” introduces those works of art of both Hungarian and foreign artists that are focusing on the visualization of the movement of water or other liquids. The mainly photography based exhibits and site-specific installations presented at the Festival wish to guide visitors by resembling well known art pieces in a world full of associations, the world of the history of art. Such a reflection is the 15 piece photo series (Fifteen Fantastic Fountains) of the Namibia born Londoner, the young graphic artist Max Siedentopf, that resembles Marcel Duchamps’ 1917 ready-made entitled the Fountain.
